The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program helps make safe and quality housing affordable to low, and very low-income households through direct rent subsidy payments to landlords. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

SHIP (Samaritan Homeless Interim Program)

Somerset County operates three different public transit bus lines – SCOOT, DASH and CAT. These buses can be used by anyone for work, school, errands, or recreation.
